Catherine is currently in the St. Louis Children's Hospital awaiting a lung transplant. 'Cathie' has Cystic Fibrosis. She has been admitted into the St. Louis Children's Hospital PICU where she is receiving ongoing aggressive medical treatments. The family lives in Chicago Illinois, where Catherine's father, Alfred, is employed...but due to the child's illness her mother, Elizabeth, has been forced to stay in the St. Louis, MO metro area. Alfred remains at his job in Chicago, but needs help making ends meet, and to commute back and forth to see his daughter on weekends.
