4 year old Sabrina has "Acute Lymphoblast Leukemia" and has been undergoing chemo treatments at the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disease of Los Vegas).

Sabrina at a Glance

Sabrina is a 4-year-old little girl full of personality. She loves to joke around and make you laugh, while also laughing at herself along with you. She is very active and loves being outside, running, swinging, swimming and playing with animals. She has a wonder for the world around her and is happiest when experiencing new things and involving herself in many different activities.    Sabrina is a momma’s girl and loves to help mom out around the house. She also loves to help herself in the kitchen and is extremely independent. Sabrina not only gets herself ready in the morning and at bedtime, but she loves helping her brother dressed and ready as well.    Sabrina knows her ABCs, how to write them and can spell and write her own name. She is very smart and can’t wait to start Kindergarten this year! She is very artistic and loves to draw, color and sing.    Sabrina is extremely sensitive to her emotional environment and tends to mirror the people around her; therefore, she is at her happiest when those around her are happy. She is very brave and doesn’t usually complain, even though she may be dissatisfied or hurt.    Sabrina has been a trooper " a real soldier " since her diagnosis with Leukemia. She doesn’t let it define who she is and refuses to direct her energy toward worry and embarrassment about her temporary condition – she walks with her head high. Sometimes, though, she looks at herself in the mirror, but she doesn’t smile at what she sees - but it’s okay, because she’s just imagining a time in the very near future, when a thick mane of hair will again cover her head, long and lustrous, just the way it was meant to be.    - by Jonna, Sabrina's Mother
